The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL) has felicitated its President General, Comrade Goodluck Ibem, as he marks his birthday today, September 23.
In a congratulatory message signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the organisation, Comrade Okey Nwaoru, COSEYL described Ibem as a committed youth leader whose years of service have been marked by advocacy, engagement and dedication to issues affecting young people and the South East.
The group said Ibem had, since assuming the leadership of COSEYL, remained actively involved in issues bordering on good governance, justice, equity, peace, development and youth participation in national affairs.
According to COSEYL, his leadership has strengthened the organisation's engagement on matters of public interest while providing a platform for young people in the region to express their concerns on issues affecting their future.
The organisation said the birthday celebration was also an opportunity to acknowledge Ibem's years of service and his continued commitment to youth leadership and community development.
“His dedication to service, courage in addressing critical national issues and commitment to the collective aspirations of the people have continued to define his leadership,” COSEYL said.
The group further wished Ibem wisdom, strength, good health and protection as he begins another year, expressing hope that the new chapter would bring greater opportunities for him to contribute to society.
COSEYL urged its members and well-meaning Nigerians to join in celebrating its President General, while wishing him many more years of life, fulfilment and impactful service.
