NPWF Congratulates Governor Soludo, Calls for Support for Professional Wrestling Development in Anambra

The Nigeria Professional Wrestling Federation (NPWF) has extended warm congratulations to the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Charles Chukwuma Soludo, on the occasion of his forthcoming swearing-in ceremony.

NPWF, a government body charged with the responsibility of regulating, promoting, and developing the sport of professional wrestling in Nigeria, commends Governor Soludo for his visionary leadership and dedication to the progress of Anambra State.

Speaking on behalf of the federation, the Managing Director of NPWF, Hon. Fidelis Kene Chiekezie, popularly known as Junior Power Mike, noted that the governor’s hard work and commitment to governance are both palpable and evident in the developmental strides witnessed across the state. According to him, the positive impact of the administration is being felt by citizens both directly and indirectly.

Hon. Chiekezie further urged the Anambra State Government to extend greater support to the development of professional wrestling and other emerging sports in the state. He emphasized that with adequate government backing, wrestling can create opportunities for youth engagement, talent discovery, and international sports representation.

The federation reaffirmed its commitment to working with the state government and relevant stakeholders to promote professional wrestling as a viable sport capable of contributing to youth development, entertainment, and economic growth.
