NPWF: Fidelis Kene Nominates Igbere TV Director, Dezmayors News Director, and Machalice TV Director as First Chairmen of Akwa Ibom, Rivers State, and Abia State

The Nigeria Professional Wrestling Federation (NPWF) has taken a significant step toward expanding its national presence following the nomination of pioneer chairmen for newly proposed state chapters in Akwa Ibom, Rivers State, and Abia State.

The nominations were made by Fidelis Kene Chiekezie, the Southeast Coordinator of NPWF and Anambra State Media and Publicity Officer, as part of the Federation’s ongoing strategy to strengthen grassroots wrestling development and institutional growth across Nigeria.

According to Fidelis Kene, Mr. James Emeh, Director of Igbere TV, has been nominated as the first chairman of the proposed NPWF Akwa Ibom State Chapter. For Rivers State, Mr. Chidiebere Stephen Okoye, Director of Dezmayors News, was nominated to serve as the pioneer chairman of the NPWF Rivers State Chapter.

Similarly, Mr. Machalice, Director of Machalice TV, has been nominated as the first chairman of the proposed NPWF Abia State Chapter.

Fidelis Kene explained that the nominations were based on the nominees’ leadership experience, media influence, and demonstrated commitment to youth development, sports promotion, and organizational growth. He noted that the proposed chairmen possess the capacity to drive the vision and objectives of the Federation at the state level.

He further disclosed that the nominations have been communicated to the NPWF National President, Chief John O. Uche, and other relevant stakeholders for review and possible ratification.

The Nigeria Professional Wrestling Federation continues to intensify efforts to establish functional state chapters nationwide, with the aim of promoting professional wrestling, discovering new talents, and contributing meaningfully to national development and human capacity building.
